GREENSBORO AND THE TRUTH!I feel that the Greensboro Truth & Reconciliation Commission is a good thing! Yes it's going to open up some old wounds, however there is a great need for these events to be revisited. We must talk about the pass so that we don't repeat it! We must begin to heal properly. This has empowered Greensboro to show the world that we can have Truth & Reconciliation. This is not making Greensboro look bad! The Commission is doing something that the leadership of Greensboro should have had the intestinal fortitude and done many years ago! We have many people among us that are in leadership positions in this day and time that knows what happened, who were involved, and know how the terrible event went down back on Nov 03, 1979! Greensboro is said to be a progressive city, I can not feel that! We can not have folks in leadership positions that do not embrace the Truth... that's sad...however that is the TRUTH! This is going to shed some light on many other dark secrets of Greensboro! Is that what everyone is afraid of? Always remember this, everything that is done in the dark will come to the light and the truth shall sat you free! To all of the citizens of Greensboro we have a City Council election this Nov! We must get out and VOTE for Change! IT IS TIME TO WAKE-UP! To Joya and Jill and the rest of the commission, I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude to you'll for taking the time out of your busy schedules to make is happen. Thank You!
